opinion why people prefer open source software over proprietary alternatives
nowadays because an open source code base is own asset. A proprietary code base
is someone else's asset. Open source software is also can be updated for free.
Moreover, we can have more control on the open software compare to proprietary
software. Furthermore, open software are more stable and programmers can make better software by studying the source
code others have written. That is why we think that open source software is
more preferred by people nowadays.
